Richard Albert is an internationally working composer, songwriter and musical instrument developer for film and commercials. Since 2007 he composed filmscores and songs for projects from metropolises like Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Havana, Cairo or Berlin. Richard wrote the music for commercials and developed international audio trademarks for prestigious brands.
In 2016 he was nominated for the German Film Music Award and the Marshall Hawkins Award – Best Musical Score at the Idyllwild International Festival Of Cinema in California. For the filmsong 'No quiero besuquear' for the Cuban movie 'A que no te atreves' he got a nomination for the Jerry Goldsmith Award at the international film music festival of Cordoba (Spain) 2013.
Richard creates unique instruments both for his own filmscores and as a professional programmer and recording session manager for instrument developers like Impact Soundworks (USA) or Sennheiser (Germany). It's his lifetime task to find new sounds – new musical spices with an unusual but beautiful character.
